|Dia Party Menu

Because I need a little pick me up and I need a checklist I am finally posting the menu. As I mentioned it is going to be a little simpler this year but I think it will still be nice:|
A selection of Mexican beverages - Mexican cane sugar coke, Dos Equis and Augua de Jamaica. Rori is contributing a special warming Cider drink to keep you toasty!
To get those taste buds fired up a few little snacks while I finish grilling
Botanas de Fruitas con sal Chili (Fruit with Chili Salt)
Candied Chili Mango
And then we will move on to a traditional Mexican mixed grill ( I am hoping to serve the main dinner at 8:00 but as usual expect it to be lingering so don't worry about coming later!):
Nopales Asado (grilled cactus paddles - vegetarian)
Tasajo (Grilled salt cured beef)
Cencina de Cerdo Enchilada (Grilled pork in Guajiilo Adobo)
Argentinian style Chicken w/Chimichurri
Chiles Toreados (Jalepeno and Onlion Sautee- vegetarian)
Shredded Oaxacan Cheese - vegetarian
Tortillas to wrap it all up in
Pasta de Frijoles Negros (Refried black beans - vegetarian)
Peruvian Style Potato Salad w/fresh cheese (Ensalda de papas y Queso Blanco - vegetarian)
Dessert is going to be special and I am not handing out details but I have several partners in this endevour including Jaz and my mommy - BUT it is going to be FANTASTIC!!! So save room!
Finally, we could probably use an extra bag or two of ice, possibly firewood if you have anything laying around and as usual, feel free to throw a folding chair or two in the back of your car!
FINALLY - Yes, I have set up an alter this year, and as always would love participation - if there is anyone you would particularily like to remember - Currently Candace's dad and David's dad have spots of honor
